Behind every patient we serve is a story worth hearing.

At Care Beyond the Boulevard, we meet people where they are, providing medical care to individuals experiencing homelessness, uninsured neighbors, and others facing barriers to healthcare.

Stories from the Street is an opportunity to come together, learn more about the people and programs that make our mission possible, and help ensure that cost is never a barrier to receiving care.

Your Impact

Every dollar raised through Stories from the Street helps support the work happening across our three core programs. From the streets to our clinics to Carehouse, your support helps us show up for our neighbors wherever they need us.

Street Outreach

Healthcare shouldn’t depend on having a roof over your head or a way to get to the doctor’s office.

Our outreach teams bring medical care directly to people living on the streets, in encampments, and throughout Kansas City. By meeting patients where they are, we’re helping remove some of the biggest barriers to accessing healthcare.

Community-Based Clinics

Everyone deserves a place to turn when they need medical care.

Through our community-based clinics, CBB provides free medical, dental, mental health, and other essential services to individuals who might otherwise go without care. These clinics help our neighbors access the services they need, regardless of their ability to pay.

Carehouse Medical Respite

Recovery is difficult enough without having to worry about where you’ll sleep.

Carehouse provides individuals experiencing homelessness with a safe place to recover following hospitalization. With continued medical care, case management, and connections to essential resources, we’re helping patients focus on healing and finding stability.
